About Me
Naomi Riggall
I have just graduated with my Bachelor of Creative Industries, majoring in Interactive and Visual Design (IVD) and Marketing, from Queensland University of Technology. I completed a Certificate III in Design Fundamentals in 2015 and a Diploma in Graphic Design in 2016 at TAFE Queensland.
My aspirations are to become a layout designer because I am interested in print and digital media, branding, and marketing communication with consumers. Becoming a layout designer, I would create designs, looks and content for print and digital publications for internal or external use, such as magazines, blogs, newsletters, flyers, packaging, social media content and websites. I have strong composition, typographic, photography, image and text editing and communication skills that I believe will be an asset. In particular, I have strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud programs.
In 2014 and 2015 I was the Multi-Media Group Leader for my school. In that role, I looked after school social media accounts, kept the school Intranet pages up to date, organised coverage and covered media for school events as leader of the media team. I have experience in creating digital assets, like videos for school assemblies and advertising content, as well as managing their use. One of my main accomplishments as Multi-Media Group Leader was redesigning the

schools’ intranet system and web pages to make them easier to use and navigate, as well as more aesthetically pleasing.
In January 2019 I completed a study tour on Media and Communication for the Fashion Industry in Florence, Italy, for Florence Men’s Fashion Week. This course incorporated marketing, the creation of an editorial during the trade show, promotion and the use of blogs and social networks as promotional tools. In June 2019 I completed a study tour incorporating site visits, interpreting and putting the knowledge learnt at university into practical application and meeting industry professionals.
