I am interested in the magazine, websites, social media content and branding aspects of graphic design. I am also interested in the marketing of fashion and the media and marketing communication that brands have with their consumers. As a Layout Designer I would be able to participate in those areas.

 

Layout designers are also known as visual concept designers, they are responsible for creating overall looks and designs for print and Internet publications, such as magazines, blogs, websites, social media content, advertisements, packaging, books and newspapers. Layout designers create fresh-looking pages while maintaining the publication’s unique style. Layout designers are commonly employed in the publishing, advertising, editorial, education, manufacturing and scientific industries. Layout designers need to have strong composition skills, typographic skills, drawing skills, image and text editing skills and communication skills.
